Free Claude skills for GCs: teach Claude to run your jobs your way
Free Claude skills that work with BuildPass. They learn how you run meeting prep, reports, follow-ups and morning briefings, then do them your way every time.
You already have a way of running your OAC meetings, a report your owner expects and a system for chasing consultants. These free Claude skills don't replace any of that. They ask how you do the job, try it on your live BuildPass data, then save it as your own skill so Claude does it your way every time.
Each skill uses the BuildPass connector, so connect BuildPass to Claude first. They work in Claude and Claude Cowork.
How the skills work
- It asks how you work. Which projects, what you need to see, what your owner should never see, and how you like it laid out. Upload a past report or agenda and it learns from that.
- It does a trial run. It builds the real thing from your live BuildPass records and asks what to change.
- It saves your version. Once you're happy, it saves a personal skill with a short trigger, like "prep me for Tuesday's OAC meeting". From then on, that one line runs the whole job. You can put it on a schedule too, like "run my chasers every Monday at 8am".
Setup only reads your records, so nothing gets sent or changed while you build a skill. Your saved skills are built to draft emails for you to send, and to ask before they change anything in BuildPass.
The skills
Set up my meeting prep
Learns which meetings you prep for, what you need walking in and what to leave out. With your calendar connected, it finds the meeting for you. Then it pulls the open RFIs, overdue punch list items, the next two weeks of the schedule and recent daily logs into a prep sheet in your format.
- Say: "Set up my meeting prep."
- Then every week: "Prep me for Tuesday's OAC meeting on Harbor Street."
- Works best with: Google Calendar or Outlook.
- Download the meeting prep skill
Set up my weekly report
Upload last week's report, or point it at the file in SharePoint or Google Drive. It learns your sections and tone, maps each one to your BuildPass data, and fills it in. It can also save the format in BuildPass, so BuildPass Agent produces the same report inside BuildPass.
- Say: "Set up my weekly report."
- Then every Friday: "Do my weekly report for Riverside."
- Works best with: SharePoint or Google Drive.
- Download the weekly report skill
Set up my follow-ups
Learns what you chase, when it's overdue, who gets the email and who gets cc'd. RFIs with consultants, punch list items with subs, expiring insurance, missing JHAs. Paste in a follow-up you've sent before and it matches your tone. Every run drafts one email per person, ready for you to send.
- Say: "Set up my chasers."
- Then every Monday: "Run my chasers."
- Works best with: Outlook or Gmail.
- Download the follow-ups skill
Set up my morning briefing
Learns what counts as urgent for you across your projects: decisions waiting on you, overdue items, today's work on the schedule, who's on site, compliance gaps. Then it gives you one short briefing each morning, in the order you want.
- Say: "Set up my morning briefing."
- Then every morning: "What do I need to know this morning?"
- Download the morning briefing skill
Build your own BuildPass skill
For every other job you repeat. Walk Claude through how you do it, or finish a good chat and say "turn that into a skill". It finds the BuildPass tools that do each step, runs it once with you, and saves it.
- Say: "Turn the job we just did into a skill."
- Download the skill builder
How to add a skill to Claude
- Download the skill. Use the links above and keep the ZIP file as it is.
- Add it to Claude. Upload it from the skills area of your Claude settings. On a team plan, an admin can add it once for everyone.
- Start setup. In a chat with BuildPass connected, say "Set up my meeting prep", or whichever skill you added.
Prefer to stay inside BuildPass?
BuildPass Agent learns the same way. Tell it "Remember this: when I say 'Monday triage', review overdue RFIs and open punch list items, start with decisions needed, then risks, then progress", and next time those two words run the whole job. Each skill above also offers you a "Remember this" version to paste into BuildPass Agent.
Frequently asked questions

Yes. Download them, change them and share them with your team.

No. The skills ask how you already work and save that. You decide the format, the projects, the thresholds and what gets left out.
Will a skill send emails or change records without asking?
Setup only reads your records. Your saved skills are built to draft emails for you to send, and to ask before they change anything in BuildPass. Read the skill file before you use it and you can see exactly what it will do.
Do they use US terms?
Yes. They use the terms your BuildPass account uses, so you get punch lists, daily logs and JHAs.
