How does the Adaptive integration work?

The BuildPass × Adaptive integration brings your job and vendor data together in one place.

1. Import and connect jobs

Import Adaptive jobs into BuildPass as new projects, or link them to existing BuildPass projects. This helps your field team start managing schedules, drawings, actions, and communication without manually recreating project records.

2. Import and connect vendors

Import Adaptive vendors as BuildPass companies, or connect them to existing records. If a vendor is already linked to a project in Adaptive, that relationship can be mirrored in BuildPass.

3. Match and manage data easily

During import, BuildPass automatically suggests potential matches using fuzzy name and ABN matching, helping you prevent duplicates and keep data clean. You can also use Bulk Sync to import or connect multiple records at once.

    The current version supports a one-way sync from Adaptive → BuildPass for jobs (projects) and vendors (companies)

    This means new jobs or vendors created in Adaptive will appear in BuildPass when syncing data, but updates made in BuildPass won’t flow back to Adaptive.

    No. Syncing is manual and on-demand. Sync once during setup, then periodically (monthly or when starting new projects) as your Adaptive data changes.
